Last week, I attended a meeting of the VISIR+ project at the Universidade do Algarve, in Faro, Portugal. VISIR+ is a project developed in partnership with 12 institutions, 6 countries and 2 continents, Europe and Latin America. It is co-founded by the Erasmus+ Program from European Union.
VISIR is a remote laboratory for electricity and electronics. Here at IFSC, I am using VISIR in the Electricity classes. This way, students have more opportunities to build real circuits and compare practical results with the theoretical analysis. You can try a demo session at https://visir.florianopolis.ifsc.edu.br
At VISIR, you can build circuits using a breadboard and operate real instruments like a power supply and multimeter. Since it is not a simulator, real issues like noise can be seen in the measurements.
